My dear one,
No man can ever claim you unless he claims you from Me. I reserved a man for you who has My heart and loves Me more than he will love you. Soon you will know him.
I have the perfect time. You are My princess, My daughter. Let no prince claim you unless he asks you from My hand for I am your Father, the King of Kings. You, my princess, are worth loving, and deserve a prince.

Prayer for Love ♥ Thursday, Jan 12 2012

AND NOW THESE THREE REMAIN: FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE. BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE. ♥
- 1 Corinthians 13:13

Lord,

Please protect my heart. Fill it with love, don’t let it feel emptiness.

Calm my heart. Let it feel peace. And patience.

All will come in its time. All will come when You decide.

Help me see what You see. Help me understand my heart.

Amen.

Prayer for Prayer ♥ Wednesday, Jan 11 2012

Lord,

Please let me learn how to have a relationship with You.

A real one.

The kind where I talk to You all day long.

Whether I’m in need,

or just thanking You.

Teach me how to pray.

How to REALLY pray.

Give me wisdom and strength,

humbleness and patience.

But most of all,

give me a chance to really know You

the way that You know me.

Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer. Wednesday, Jan 11 2012

Prayer is such an important thing and many people don’t understand that it is pure communication with God. Whether you pray silently, out loud, on your knees, standing, sitting, or in bed. God is always happy to listen to you. So before you go to bed tonight, don’t forget to put a minute out for the lord (: he is waiting for you to reach out to him! To pour out your problems, exclaim your gratitude, and to talk to him like to a friend. Pleasant dreams to you all and God bless!

Biblical Symbols; part 1 Thursday, Aug 11 2011

Last week I was water baptized. I’ll admit, up till the time I began attending baptism classes with my church, I didn’t know what water baptism really meant. I didn’t understand the sacred symbol behind it and didn’t know what I was about to do. Eventually after a few weeks of lecture and exams I began to learn… baptism isn’t just some sacred act performed since biblical times; its a symbol that Jesus left for us.

Jesus left two symbols for the church.

  1. Water baptism
  2. Communion

and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also- not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ

- I Peter 3:21

When God baptizes you into Christ, you become a new creation in your spirit, not in your body (flesh). This means your body is still corruptible but your conscience is cleaned out and your heart is washed with the blood of Jesus Christ. Your spirit is put to life with the Holy Spirit. You now have the ability to communicate with God, hear His voice, love and obey Him, overcome sin, and walk out your salvation by faith. This doesn’t only sound amazing, by my own experience I can say it truly feels incredible.

The symbol itself:

  • By going down into the water, it symbolizes that our old self is dead to sin and is buried by faith in Jesus.
  • By being raised out of the water, we show that our new self is raised by the Spirit and made alive by faith in Christ.

Since our new Master is the Lord Jesus, we commit to walk in righteousness -not by our old ways and fleshly habits, but by our new life in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit indwelling our spirit.

Repentance; defined. Wednesday, Aug 10 2011

What does it mean to repent? Is it coming to a pastor, confessing your sins? Praying for forgiveness? A promise to Jesus that you wont commit the sin again?

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be
in heaven over one sinner that repenteth…

– Luke 15:7

When Jesus preached the gospel in Matthew 4:17, He said, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” This is not a question, it is not a plea or advice. Jesus said this in a command; Repentance is required in order to get to the Kingdom of God.

Repentance is not a penance for guilt or a quick prayer for forgiveness. It is a change of mind, which turns your heart from sin into a 180 degree direction towards God. In simple terms, repentance is a

  1. complete brokenness
  2. a change of heart and mind
  3. detest of one’s sin.

Complete brokenness means to grieve your sin. Think about Jesus, he died for our sins! God gave His only son to die for us, and God hates sin. We need to realize that our sin put Jesus to the cross. Then, after a person repents he gets a change of mind. Which turns him away from the sin automatically, and makes him neutral to it. After repentance you wont want to sin because you will naturally hate what you did before. In the end after making the big step of repentance, you will feel freedom from the sin, and joy from the pure conscience before God!

“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions so iniquity shall not be your ruin” (Ezekiel 18:30).

What is love? Tuesday, Aug 9 2011

  • In 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8, apostle Paul wrote about love.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

  • Is there somebody special in your life? How do you know they are who you are meant to be with? How do you know if you are ready to commit to them? Are they your true love?

Put their name into these blank spaces:

___ is patient, ___is kind. ___does not envy, ___does not boast, ___is not proud. ___is not rude, ___is not self-seeking, ___is not easily angered, ___keeps no record of wrongs. ___does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. ___always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. ___never fails.

  • Do you see any errors? If your special friend passes this little test, then you know you have a treasure in your hands. However if they don’t; nobody’s perfect, but can you deal with the flaws for the rest of your life? This is definitely something big to think about. It may mean that you could have problems, big or small, in your future together and questioning yourself if you are ready for that kind of commitment is an important thing.

Always remember to pray for your future husband/wife, even if you aren’t even in a relationship yet. Pray for God to keep them close and protect them from harm, broken hearts, and from evil things. Remember, love never fails! It’s never to early to start to pray for your future.

XOXO
